Last week’s Interfaith Panel Build was a true representation of faith in action! Thank you to the many volunteers, churches, and partner organizations who joined us in building the framework of Leah’s house 🩵
We’d like to say a special thank you to Union Chapel Ministries for not only allowing us the parking lot space to build an entire home, but also for being such gracious hosts and ensuring our volunteers were hydrated and comfortable throughout the day.

These amazing athletes stepped off the diamond and onto the build sites to volunteer with us recently.
Instead of swinging bats, they were swinging hammers, raising walls, and making a difference in our community. We are incredibly grateful for your teamwork, hard work, and dedication to helping local families build a safe place to call home. You prove that being a team is about so much more than just winning games—it’s about lifting up our community!

We started our partnership with Mr. Canada’s Habitat group at Burris Laboratory School for the 26-27 school year Friday.
Even with school being cancelled with short notice these dedicated students still showed up eager to volunteer with us!
We are looking forward to what this school year will bring with this group of students. 🩵🔨
The rain has cleared out and Unity Fest is in full swing at Heekin Park ☀️

2025 Annual Report
When we come together to build homes, it means that right here in Muncie we can dream of a larger impact. In 2025, we celebrated serving our 300th family. Whether through repairing an existing home, or building a new home with an affordable, no-interest loan—we have helped more than 300 families build a foundation of safety, stability, and opportunity.
The end result is nothing less than the transformation of lives, families, and communities—one person, one home, at a time. Which has always been the dream—to build more than houses.
As we step into our 40th year of serving families in Muncie, we want to thank you for walking alongside us and making this dream a reality for so many.

Shop or donate with us! The ReStore accepts donations of new and gently used building supplies, furniture and tools. These materials are sold to the public and the proceeds are used by Habitat to build more Habitat homes.
Help build a more eco-friendly Muncie! You can even set up a time to have your items picked up for free. Our inventory is always changing.
