Greater Muncie Habitat for Humanity Welcomes New Board Members
January 23, 2014 – Muncie, IN – Greater Muncie Habitat for Humanity recently announced the addition of two new board members. Tracy Osborne and Jerry Peirson are the newest members of the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors that are dedicated to the organization’s mission of putting God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Tracy Osborne is a CPA and is employed by the law offices of Defur Voran LLP as the Director of Fiduciary Tax Services, LLC, a subsidiary tax practice which concentrates in the areas of estates, gift, trust and not-for profit tax planning and compliance. She previously served as a trust administrator and fiduciary estate tax specialist at a local trust company. Tracy is also serves on the Board of Elders of her church, The Gathering, and on the Board of Directors of Inspire Academy, a local charter school.
Jerry Peirson served as the Director of Athletic Development and Executive Director of the Cardinal Varsity Club at Ball State University for over 10 years. He began his career as a teacher and basketball coach for Cowan High School before joining the coaching staff at his alma mater Miami University of Ohio. In 2010, he was inducted in the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Now retired, Peirson also remains actively involved as a member of The Gathering.
