At Muncie Habitat for Humanity, we believe everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home. That’s why we are excited to introduce Women Build 2023. Women Build is a fundraising campaign dedicated to empowering women to volunteer on the job site and create a lasting impact. With your support, we aim to raise funds to cover half the construction costs of a much-needed home for a deserving family. Together, we can build not only houses but also a stronger and more inclusive community.
Our Women Build campaign brings together teams of passionate women (and men), each with a fundraising goal of $2,500. These teams have the potential to raise up to $60,000! Their enthusiasm and unwavering commitment exemplify the power of women-led initiatives.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to First Merchants for their steadfast support of Women Build. Their incredible generosity allows us to double the impact of our fundraising efforts.
For every dollar raised by our teams, First Merchants will match it, up to $30,000. Together, we can make an even greater difference.
We extend our deepest gratitude to MIDAS for their 2023 Sponsorship of Women Build. Their support has been instrumental since 2021 in helping us reach our fundraising goals. Midas helps support all the volunteer amenities like shirts, hospitality tent and meals for volunteers.
There are many ways to support Women Build. You can donate on behalf of a team, or a single builder or to the Women Build Project itself. You can donate directly on the Muncie Habitat Website https://munciehabitat.org/donate/ We also accept mail in donations.We are thrilled to announce that our Women Build event is almost at capacity, with 14 out of 16 team spots filled! But don’t worry, there’s still a chance for you and your friends, co-workers, church members, or clubs to join in the empowering experience. Gather a group of 9 individuals and become a team that helps us make a difference this year. Each team comprises 10 builders, and together, you’ll have a fundraising goal of $2500.00. Building bonds and creating safe homes for those in need is an incredible opportunity. Join us and let’s empower each other through the power of Women Build!
